My opponent, Jake Ellzey, became the first Texas congressman to vote against Social Security.

Thank you for the endorsement Governor O’Malley! Former Social Security Commissioner Martin O’Malley sets the record straight: Texas seniors deserve a leader who will protect their hard-earned benefits, not vote to cut them.  Incumbent Jake Ellzey voted against protecting Social Security. It’s time for a change in Texas’s 6th Congressional District. Support Danny Minton for Congress—he’s on your side and will always fight to safeguard Social Security and Medicare for working families.  Vote for real leadership in TX-06.
